1920s-Style Alger House Wedding Photos
Marisa and Colin decided to take a step back in time when they exchanged their vows. Every aspect of their wedding coordinated had a 1920s-style theme — from the guests who arrived in flapper dresses to the phonograph DJ spinning fantastic tunes. I’ve got all the Alger House wedding photos to share with you in today’s blog post!
The beautiful antique details of the Alger House made it the perfect venue for the theme of Marisa and Colin’s wedding. Adding to the ambiance was the music provided by DJ Michael Cumella’s Crank-Up Phonograph Experience. DJ Michael is a natty dresser, and he will have all your guests doing the Charleston. Michael played during the cocktail hour, while the delightful retro jazz of live band Lapis Luna got the crowd dancing during the reception.
The food at the Alger House was great, as usual, and the desserts were provided by Veniero’s Italian Bakery in the East Village. Without being costumey at all, Marisa was able to turn her love for a bygone era into fun wedding details. Enjoy the photos!
