Congratulations to Jingle and Huang who were married at the lovely Alger House in the West Village. In case you’re not familiar with the location, it’s a two story townhouse nestled on Downing Street. While unassuming from the outside, inside it is filled with exquisite Victorian details.
Jingle and Huang’s wedding combined many different cultures: for her ceremony she chose a traditional Western, white wedding dress. For the cocktail hour, she changed into a dress reflecting her own Chinese heritage, which was bought in Hong Kong. Finally, for the end of the evening Jingle revealed a beautiful sari as a nod to her husband’s Indian background. The music for the evening was a blend of everything with several Bollywood hits thrown in to get the crowd going. Bittersweet provided the intricately decorated cake, and the music was provide by John Hubela and the Compact Disc Jockeys.
