Holga Portraits
As an artist, I’m always looking for new ways to creatively capture the moment. Recently, I began using my Holga camera to take portraits. For those of you not familiar with a Holga, it is a plastic, medium format camera with a cult following due to its low-fi aesthetic. The simple construction of the camera allows for lots of distortions, including vignetting, blur, and light leaks. Each Holga has its own quirks, with virtually no two Holgas creating the same types of distortions. One of the best features of the Holga is that it can easily create double exposed images.
