A Bell House Wedding Anniversary Party
You missed the part of the year last night at Gabi and Brendan’s Bell House wedding anniversary party! The couple met online, and actually got married last year in an intimate ceremony with just family present. But as their one-year anniversary rolled around, Gabi and Brendan decided it was time to throw a party…and I was there to photograph every minute. Check out all the details in today’s blog post!
The evening began by taking fun portraits on the streets of Gowanus near the Bell House. With the portraits out of the way, the rest of the day proceeded much like a regular wedding reception with a first dance, parent dances, toasts, and even a mini cake cutting. The event was coordinated by Hold Your Hand Events, who were immensely helpful in tying everything together.
A few DIY items to note: first, Gabi did all of her own flowers for the party. She checked out the selection at the NYC flower market down on 28th Street, and put together all of the centerpieces herself. The couple set up a photo booth for guests that included fun props and a polaroid camera. The resulting photos and comments will be put into a photo album/guest book for the couple.
