Kirsten & João’s Meatpacking District Engagement Photos
Please meet Kirsten and João, who recently celebrated their engagement with a photo shoot in the Meatpacking District. Our photo adventure began in front of the brownstones in Greenwich Village and ended up on the High Line. Enjoy their Meatpacking District engagement photos in today’s post!
Kirsten and João met a few years ago across the dance floor at BAM Cafe in Brooklyn. João, a native of Brazil, and Kirsten, originally from Illinois, are huge fans of Brazilian and African dance. Their skills on the dance floor are evident in this photo shoot. Just look at how they make beautiful music together.
We started our shoot on Jane Street so that we could capture the old NYC feel of the cobblestones and brownstones. After a brief warm up, the couple was ready to hit the Meatpacking District full throttle and Kirsten and João danced it up in front of the graffiti storefronts. We ended the shoot on the High Line, and luckily avoided heavy crowds that day.
