A Locanda Verde Wedding
I’m pleased to share with you the lovely Locanda Verde wedding of Susan and Tim! While Hurricane Sandy was just starting to pick up speed outside, Susan and Tim spent the day saying ‘I do.’ Check out the ominous sky outside the window of the Millenium Hilton, where Susan was getting ready.
The champagne was flowing while Susan got ready, which helped to put minds at ease with the darkening skies outside. Everyone had fun prepping for the wedding, including the youngest guest who got her nails painted. The ceremony took place at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church downtown, and the couple booked an old fashioned trolley to transport the 50 guests from the church to the Locanda Verde wedding reception in Tribeca.
I can’t recommend the private room at Locanda Verde enough: its brick interior and cozy fireplace was the perfect fit for the small gathering. Long banquet tables brought everyone together and encouraged all guests to get to know one another. And while space was tight, Susan and her father enjoyed an impromptu father-daughter dance during the evening. Enjoy the pics!
