Seda & Omer: A Manhattan Marriage Bureau Wedding
I recently had the great honor of photographing the wedding of Seda and Omer at their Manhattan Marriage Bureau wedding. They are a lovely couple who were joined by Omer’s sister (and wedding witness!), Layla, as they patiently waited for their number to be called. The whole process took approximately one hour on a Friday morning. The lesson here is that if you are going to get marriage at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau on a Friday, then make sure you get there early. Weddings taking place in the afternoon can include a wait of two hours or more.
After the brief ceremony, we took some portraits both in the wedding garden, located just outside of the City Clerk’s office and on the steps of the NYC courthouse. Enjoy the photos!
