Love, laughter, and plenty of dancing were on hand last night at Melody and Michael’s India House wedding. It’s clear these two simply adore each other, and the evening’s festivities brought together friends and family in celebration of their romance. Check out all the photos in today’s blog post!
The wedding took place at India House which, if you’ve never been, is a fantastic historic venue. The entire house is filled with nautical details going back to the earliest days of New York City.
A few items to note about the wedding: instead of having a guest book, Melody and Michael provided guests with a ‘mad libs’ version so guests could give the couple their own marriage advice (albeit hysterical). In addition, the table ‘numbers’ were actually framed quotes from some of the couple’s favorite authors. Finally, the bride surprised the groom with her own a cappella version of ‘A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.’ Not a dry eye in the house after that performance! #MelodyAndMichael
