Beautiful Views from a Ravel Hotel Penthouse Wedding
It’s been a very busy June, so I’ve been away from the computer, but I am back and happy to present the Ravel Hotel Penthouse wedding of Courtney and Warren. They were married on May 19th at the lovely church of St. Joseph’s in Astoria. Their reception was held high atop the Ravel Hotel in Long Island City. The stunning views of the NYC skyline from the Penthouse were spectacular, and I can’t recommend this location highly enough as a venue — great food and great service from their staff as well.
Courtney put together the entire wedding herself, and she did a fantastic job! Two unique aspects to her wedding were her precious cake toppers (which included a banner with their last name) and a photo booth. The photo booth (provided by Classic Photo Booth) was a great source of fun entertainment for guests, and gave Courtney and Warren a unique scrapbook memento.
And speaking of photos, Courtney and Warren both wanted to incorporate a bit of old school New York into their big day. To do so, they called up Film Cars and hired an original Checkered Cab to take them from the church to the reception. Peter, our driver, could not have been more accommodating and as a result we got some fantastic photos of Courtney and Warren with the car. Enjoy the pics!
By the way, make sure you check out Courtney and Warren’s Coney Island engagement photos to see where their love story began.
