A Brooklyn Bridge Park Wedding
It was a true Brooklyn love story when Aimee and Colin said ‘I do’ this past weekend. From their Brooklyn Bridge Park wedding to their reception at the Larry Lawrence bar in Williamsburg, it’s clear these two love their borough (and each other). I’ve got all the details in today’s blog post.
The weather was not really cooperating on the day of Aimee and Colin’s wedding, but these two couldn’t have cared less. I started off the day at the Ace Hotel in Manhattan taking photos of Aimee as she got ready. If you haven’t been to the hotel, I recommend at least having a drink in the bar. The hotel has a cool vibe, the rooms are very photographable.
We, of course, took the Brooklyn Bridge over to the park for the ceremony. Guests sat on the steps of the Granite Prospect while Aimee and Colin exchanged vows. After a few family photos by the waterfront, it was time to head to Williamsburg. The couple had chosen a low key, fun bar for their reception. I have to give a huge shout out to the staff at the Larry Lawrence bar whose friendly staff made everyone feel welcome. Dinner for the evening was served from a food truck with great barbeque. In addition, guests munched on dim sum and cupcakes. What more do you need for a party? Enjoy the pics!
