I originally was going to use this blog to show photos from another Forest Hills family portrait, but then I thought, nah, I would rather share some Coney Island street photography from my visit there on Labor Day. Summer may be over, but I’m hanging on to the memories.
With all the gloomy weather, I thought everyone might be due for some bright, exotic travel photos. Personally, I have been longing to visit some place sunny. So to get us all in a warmer frame of mine, I am sharing with you my India street photography from a trip that included Delhi, Rajasthan, and the Taj Mahal.
For those of you keeping track, I just returned from a trip out west. And though the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) annual conference in Las Vegas was ostensibly my reason for traveling, my real desire to get up and go was to visit Death Valley and the Mojave National Preserve. Come along with me and check out my travel photos.
As you may have seen from my Instagram (@KellyWPhotog), I am finally back from the wild blue yonder of Las Vegas. I was out west to attend the annual Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) conference. Not that much news to report, but I did manage to take some street photos while I was there. Here, dear readers, is my take on Las Vegas.
If you grew up in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area in Florida as I did, then you no doubt have fond memories of the Kapok Tree restaurant in Clearwater. This fabulous restaurant was as over the top as it comes, complete with its own garden of earthly delights. Sadly, the restaurant passed into culinary oblivion many, many years ago, but the ghosts of the past still remain…and I have the photos to prove it.
It’s the middle of the week, so I thought it might be a good time to share another dose of warmth from Florida. This time I am sharing with you photos from a recent trip I took to Caladesi Island and Honeymoon Island, both located just outside of Clearwater, Florida. Think warm thoughts, New York!
Happy new year, everyone! As you can tell from my Instagram (@KellyWPhotog), I am still on vacation in Florida. As such, I have been slow to get back to the social media grind. I thought I might ease into the regular blog schedule by sharing a few photos from Florida with you.
