I may still be in the land of paradise (a.k.a. Florida), but that doesn’t mean I’m not busy behind the lens. Check out these new modeling headshots I did today with Tikila at Plant Park, located next to the University of Tampa. Plant Park is by far one of the most popular spots in Tampa to host photo shoots. While I was there this past Saturday checking it out there was a wedding and a quinceanera both vying for the best locations. Today I shared the park with another photographer who was there to shoot a little boy’s first birthday. Plenty of room for all of us!
I had the pleasure of photographing a classic New York moment on Sunday: my first proposal at the top of the Empire State Building.
Bad weather caused last weekend’s maternity shoot with Melanie and Jalani to be delayed until this past Saturday. Sadly, it rained all day preventing any outside shots. That said, the photos still turned out lovely, as you can see below. Baby Collier is expected to arrive on January 18th, so stay tuned for news from Melanie and Jalani! Enjoy the pics.
I am so pleased when wedding clients come to me for maternity shoots or family portraits. It’s as if the circle is complete, and the grand finale of the couple’s walk down the aisle is revealed. I have one such shoot coming up for a lovely couple whose wedding I shot not that long ago in Queens. They are expecting their first baby, and in celebration of the shoot, I wanted to write a post on maternity shoot ideas.
Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying the last bit of the weekend. I had a shoot yesterday with the beautiful Michele, and I wanted to share the portraits with you.
This Halloween, I dressed up as Snow White, and I wanted to make sure I get some good photos out of the experience (more on that later). I’m not one to enjoy having my own photo taken, and it has put me squarely in the shoes of my clients. I wanted my own photo experience to be as easy and fun as possible, so I thought I would pass along a few tips to for how to look good in photos. To all of you ghost, goblins, or perhaps just someone looking for a new photo for Facebook, here are some tips for getting the best portrait possible:
This weekend I am so excited to be photographing the wedding of Kate and Stuart: two crazy kids who fell in love across the pond in London. Kate and Stuart are originally from New Jersey, and will be getting married in their hometown. To celebrate their love story, I wanted to share with you photos from their engagement in Brooklyn. #KateAndStuart2014
The busy wedding season is upon us! This weekend will bring the joyous nuptials of Melody and Michael, who will be getting married at the India House, located in the financial district. I’m thrilled to be photographing this lovely couple, and wanted to share with you photos from their engagement shoot, shot this past May during the cherry blossom season.
I will have the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Nina & Thom tomorrow at the Oratory of St. Bonifice with a reception at The Farm on Adderley. These Brooklynites love their borough almost as much as they love each other, and wanted to proclaim their local pride with an engagement shoot at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the Grand Army Plaza. Enjoy these pics from their shoot, and I’ll have more photos tomorrow from their wedding. Oh, and check out the moves by these karate super stars. Thom already has his black belt, and last I heard, Nina was going for hers. The couple that kicks together, stays together. #NinaAndThom
I can’t believe the day is finally here — my lovely clients Julia and Jason are getting married tomorrow at the American Yacht Club. It seems like just yesterday we were meeting for the first time in a coffee shop on the upper west side. Time has flown by! In celebration of tomorrow’s wedding, I wanted to share with you photos from their engagement shoot in Central Park. The park is near and dear to both of their hearts: it’s where Jason proposed to Julia not too long ago. Enjoy the pics, and I’ll be posting photos from their wedding on Sunday. Congrats, #JuliaAndJason!
